MARION FOP MAKES ENDORSEMENTS

MARION FOP ENDORSES RAY GROGAN, WARREN EDWARDS, JASON WARNER, KEN STIVERSON AND TRACY RICHARDSON

The membership of the Steve Young Memorial Lodge of the Marion County Fraternal Order of Police met on August 14th 2018 and voted to make the following political endorsements after interviewing every candidate:

Ohio House of Representatives, 86th District: Tracy Richardson.

Mrs. Richardson is a is a graduate of West Point and deployed in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, earning a Bronze Star. “Tracy will be a strong leader in the Ohio House of Representatives and she supports some of our most important issues, issues like PTSD treatment for 1st Responders. We are proud to endorse her” said FOP 24 President Jim Fitsko

Marion County Commissioner: Ken Stiverson

“Mr. Stiverson has shown a willingness to work with law enforcement to get the equipment needed for us to do our job safely. It is for this reason, and many others, that the men and women of Marion County Law Enforcement endorse Ken Stiverson for Marion County Commissioner” said FOP 24 President Jim Fitsko.

Marion County Common Pleas Court Judges: Warren T. Edwards and Jason Warner

“Warren T. Edwards has been endorsed by the Marion County Fraternal Order of Police because we know that he will be tough on crime. Mr. Edwards’ experience as a Prosecuting Attorney in Franklin County has shown that he will fight to put those who need to be in prison, in prison” stated FOP 24 President Jim Fitsko.

“Jason Warner earned the endorsement of the Marion County Fraternal Order of Police because we know he will end the revolving door in the Justice System. Mr. Warner has demonstrated time and time again that he understands what this community needs from the bench during his time as a Magistrate in the Marion Municipal Court’ said Jim Fitsko, Marion County FOP President.

Marion County Prosecutor: Ray Grogan

The Marion FOP overwhelmingly voted to endorse Ray Grogan in the race for Marion County Prosecutor. “Ray has worked tirelessly since being appointed to the position of Marion County Prosecutor to keep our community safe. Ray’s experience in working with law enforcement to put dangerous criminals behind bars is what gives him the edge in this race and we are proud to endorse him and to urge our fellow citizens to support him” said Jim Fitsko, Marion FOP President.

The Steve Young Memorial Lodge of the Marion County Fraternal Order of Police is comprised of active and retired law enforcement officers from local, county and state agencies in Marion, Ohio.
