Rent the Lodge

Rental Rate and Payment Terms

1. Rate. The rate is subject to verification of eligibility for any applicable discount; if not eligible, the reservation may be canceled or the higher rate applied.
2. Security Deposit. The rate includes a refundable $100 security deposit that is required within one (1) week of booking.
3. Online Payment Surcharge: The rate may include a surcharge for using online payment which is the responsibility of the renter.

Payment and Deposit Policy

1. Deposit Conditions

1. • The $100 deposit is due within one (1) week of booking. It will be refunded via check by U.S. mail within 14 days after the rental if all conditions are met.
   • If the reservation is cancelled less than 60 days before the rental date, the deposit will be non-refundable.
   • Deposit and rental fees can be paid via Venmo at https://account.venmo.com/u/FOP24 or by mailing a check to FOP #24, Attn: Rick Hare, 100 Executive Drive, Marion, Ohio 43302.

1. Rental Fee. Must be paid in full at least 14 days before the rental date. If unpaid, the reservation will be cancelled, and all money paid will not be refunded.

Conditions for Deposit Refund

The $100 security deposit will be refunded if:

1. Cleanup: The facility is left in its original condition, including:
   • Trash: All trash has been removed from the lodge and placed in the dumpster.
   • Furniture: Tables and chairs have been returned to their original arrangement.
   • Floors: All indoor floors have been swept and mopped; outdoor areas have been cleared of trash and restored to their original condition.
2. No Damages: No damages have occurred to the property or furnishings. The renter is responsible for loss or damage, up to replacement value.

RENTAL RULES

1. No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the lodge.
2. No Pets: Pets are not allowed inside lodge.
3. Wall Damage: Do not create holes in the wall and remove any tape used.
4. Furniture Placement: Return any moved items to their original location.
5. Linens: Leave any kitchen towels and rags for lodge caretaker.
6. Cleanup:
   • Sweep and mop floors.
   • Empty all trash bags into the outside bin and replace liners.
7. Outside Areas: Leave the outdoor spaces as found, do not throw rocks into the pond, and practice catch-and-release for any fish caught.

RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The renter shall remain responsible for all loss and/or damage to the property and furnishings while they are at the lodge, up to and including replacement value of missing or damaged items.
2. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
